Let It Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle

Format (That I Read It):

Book

Summary:

An ill-timed storm on Christmas Eve buries the residents of Gracetown under multiple feet of snow and causes quite a bit of chaos. One brave soul ventures out into the storm from her stranded train and sets off a chain of events that will change quite a few lives. Over the next three days one girl takes a risky shortcut with an adorable stranger, three friends set out to win a race to the Waffle House (and the hash brown spoils), and the fate of a teacup pig falls into the hands of a lovesick barista.

A trio of today's bestselling authors - John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle- brings all the magic of the holidays to live in three hilarious and charming interconnected tales of love, romance, and kisses that will steal your breath away.

Initial Thoughts:

I started reading this one on a whim. I bought this book the beginning of 2014 and I remember starting it. I got about fifty pages in before putting it down. I don’t remember the exact reason behind why I never finished the novel. This year I was feeling very festive and I saw the book on my shelf and picked it up.

Review:

★★★★
All three stories were very cute. Each one of the stories intertwined together. They all took place in one town called Gracetown during Christmas. A severe snow storm blows through the town trapping many people. Each one of the authors takes a person from the town and writes about their lives and how the storm affects them. I really like how the characters all intertwined together. All the characters were very relatable. It was an adorable read for the Holiday. My favorite was the first story with Jubilee. I love Maureen Johnson’s writing style. And just the story, in general, was my favorite although I did also love the teacup pig but I mean who wouldn’t.
