Anything But Books Tag Source I saw some Booktubers do this tag and I loved the questions so I decided to do it too. The tag is exactly what the title says; it's asking questions about everything but books. 1. Name a cartoon(s) that you love. Now I can make a whole post about my favorite cartoons but for now, I will talk about two cartoons that I've finished and loved (most recently). They are Gravity Falls and Over The Garden Wall . Let me talk about Gravity Falls first. Gravity Falls if you don't know is about two siblings, twins, named Dipper and Mabel. They get dropped off at their Uncle's tourist shop in Gravity Falls, Oregon but the town isn't what it seems. This show ended last year with only two seasons but they were so fantastic. Try A Chapter Tag Source Scarlet by Marissa Meyer I really liked the first chapter of this one. It was a little confusing because it has been a while since I read Cinder and I think if I choose this one I have review what Cinder was. I need to remember the small details I forgot. American Gods by Neil Gaiman This book really peaked my interest. That is especially surprising considering I wasn't exactly sure what the plot was. By the end of the first chapter I was already sure that this was the book I was going to read out of all.  Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo It didn't really read this one. It was one of the last books and I read and I already made up my mind of what I wanted to read so I didn't need to continue.  Night Film by Marisha Pessl This book chapter was really short. Stranger Things Book Tag!   ( Source:  Sarah Sunbeemz ) I watched Stranger Things and like most shows I watch I like to do the book tags so when I saw that this was a tag I just had to do it. 1:  EPIC INTRO – The opening of Stranger Things is amazing and really grabs your attention. Name a book that grabbed you attention from the first page.  A book that grabbed my attention from the first page (at least recently) has to be November 9 by Colleen Hoover. The first sentence wasn't anything special or something that immediately made me want to watch them all. The thing is, though, I read the first page. Then the next, and the next. #Bout of Books 17 Wrap Up August 22nd  (12:00 am) -  August 28 th (11:59 pm) Well, this didn't go so well. I thought that I would have more time to read but so much happened this whole week. My days off turned into more work and family was in town again so I didn't have any time to really get any of my reading I had planned down. I didn't feel good either. I only ended up reading really one book and not even a fourth of the other one. I even wrote a full review of November 9 here.  I'm still trying to get through Crown of Midnight which makes me upset because I want to be caught up before Empire of Storms comes out next week but I'm not sure that will happen. That's what I'm going to do going forward. I will be trying to read all the Throne of Glass books.

TRY A CHAPTER TAG (#1) Source: BookParadise I saw this tag going around today and thought it was perfect for the readathon I'm doing. What you do is pick five books (or less if you want) and read the first chapter of each book to try and decide what you want to read next. You're Not Good Enough Book Tag!   ( Source:  Becca and Chami ) I saw Booksandlala do this tag the other day. It was funny to hear all her answers and so I decided to take a stab at it. The premise of the tag is that you need to put 30 (book) character names in a jar or container. Then for each question pull out two names and answer what best fits the question. You should do this tag it's amazingly fun! Also, it produced some really funny answers! 1:  You only have one more spot on your Spelling B team, who would you pick to complete your team?
