Review: Heir of Fire  by Sarah J. Maas Format (That I Read It): Book Summary: Celaena has survived deadly contests and shattering heartbreak―but at an unspeakable cost. Now, she must travel to a new land to confront her darkest truth . . . a truth about her heritage that could change her life―and her future―forever. Meanwhile, brutal and monstrous forces are gathering on the horizon, intent on enslaving her world. Will Celaena find the strength to not only fight her inner demons but to take on the evil that is about to be unleashed? Initial Thoughts: It's #TOMETOPPLE time again and while this book was on my TBR I wasn't really planning on reading it. I thought for sure that I would either The Name of the Wind by Patrick Ness or American Gods by Neil Gaiman. I thought and felt the need to read a Sarah J. Maas. I haven't read one since last November/December. Review: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ~Spoilers  Below~ I quite enjoyed myself while r...

Try A Chapter Tag Source Scarlet by Marissa Meyer I really liked the first chapter of this one. It was a little confusing because it has been a while since I read Cinder and I think if I choose this one I have review what Cinder was. I need to remember the small details I forgot. American Gods by Neil Gaiman This book really peaked my interest. That is especially surprising considering I wasn't exactly sure what the plot was. By the end of the first chapter I was already sure that this was the book I was going to read out of all.  Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo It didn't really read this one. It was one of the last books and I read and I already made up my mind of what I wanted to read so I didn't need to continue.  Night Film by Marisha Pessl This book chapter was really short. I mean it had a prologue and pictures before it but I just wasn't in the mood for this book right now.  Heir of Fire by Sarah J Maas ...

Review: A Court of Mist and Fury  by Sarah J. Maas Format (That I Read It): Book Summary: Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people. Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two. With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights. Initial Thoughts: After I read A Court of...

Assassin Celaena Sardothien won a brutal contest to become his Champion. Yet Celaena is far from loyal to the crown. She hides her secret vigilantly; she knows that the man she serves is bent on evil. Keeping up the deadly charade becomes increasingly difficult when Celaena realizes she is not the only one seeking justice. As she tries to untangle the mysteries buried deep within the glass castle, her closest relationships suffer. It seems no one is above questioning her allegiances—not the Crown Prince Dorian; not Chaol, the Captain of the Guard; not even her best friend, Nehemia, a foreign princess with a rebel heart. Then one terrible night, the secrets they have all been keeping lead to an unspeakable tragedy. As Celaena's world shatters, she will be forced to give up ...

Playlist Book Tag Source The playlist tag combines two of my favorite things music and books. It's just like the regular playlist tag where you take your music and put it on shuffle and write down the first ten songs but for this one, you then have to take the songs and add a book that that song reminds you of.  (Links will all be included so you can listen to the songs.) Sacred Heart by The Civil Wars : Outlander by Diana Gabaldon This Is Halloween by Marilyn Manson :  A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness Roman Holiday by Halsey : Paper Towns by John Green Dance Floor Anthem by Good Charlotte :  The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky WALK THE MOON - Shut Up and Dance : Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell Talk Me Down by Troye Sivan : Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz Love Me by The 1975 : Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan ...
