#BookBuddyathon Wrap Up May 6th 12:00 am - May 12th 11:59 pm So....I'm so absolutely terrible. I was gonna wait until Monday (May 15) because of Mother's day and my birthday took up the weekend but then I completely spaced it and now it's the weekend away. Well here is my wrap up. My book buddy was  @terrigriffiths_ and she was fantastic to talk to during the week. It was great getting to know her. We talked about books and life. It was really nice. I hope we can do it again sometime. Maybe next time it will go a bit better with the Buddy Read..... Challenges: Buddy read a book Read a book that's your buddy's favorite color Grey Read a book that's title starts with your book buddy's name Terri (T) Choose three books and have your book buddy pick one A List of Cages by Robin Roe Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman If I Was Your Girl by Meredith Russo Read a book you want to read Buddy read a book: The Devil in the W...

Review: Everything, Everything  by Nicola Yoon Format (That I Read It): Book Summary: Madeline Whittier is allergic to the outside world. So allergic, in fact, that she has never left the house in all of her seventeen years. But when Olly moves in next door and wants to talk to Maddie, tiny holes start to appear in the protective bubble her mother has built around her. Olly writes his IM address on a piece of paper, shows it at her window, and suddenly, a door opens. But does Maddie dare to step outside her comfort zone? Initial Thoughts: To be completely honest with you I wasn't really interested in reading this book. I knew that I would probably get to it eventually because I want to watch the movie but I also knew the longer I would wait I would eventually be spoiled. But that still didn't force it any higher on my TBR shelf. Then while in a reading slump I was randomly looking at the books at work, saw Everything, Everything and de...

#TBRTakedown 5.0 Wrap Up (February 6th - February 12th) I actually read a book!! I did it finally! I finished two books actually and started another two during this readathon.  I'm really happy considering lately my streak with readathons hasn't been all that great. I am busy with work and finding time to read has been hard but I did it! TBR Challenges: A book that's been on your TBR Shelf Over a Year! A book from your most recent book haul. The first book in a series. Catch up in a series. An "out of your comfort zone" book. I completed 3/5 of the challenges and 1/4 of the books from my original TBR. But I also finished a book that wasn't on my TBR before that I felt like reading. Challenges Completed: A book that's been on your TBR Shelf for over a year and the first book in a series. The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis  ★ ★ ★ I gave this book 3/5 stars. It was fine. I have watched the movie before (when it ...

Review: A Court of Mist and Fury  by Sarah J. Maas Format (That I Read It): Book Summary: Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people. Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two. With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights. Initial Thoughts: After I read A Court of...

The Supernatural Book Tag Source As some of you may know my all time favorite show is Supernatural. I can't wait for the new season (Season 12 I can't believe it) that comes out tomorrow Thursday, October 13th on the CW so in honor of that, I decided to see if there was a good Supernatural tag that I could do. What do you know I did!! 1. The Colt : If you could own a fictional item, what would you choose? If I got to have any fictional item from any book world it would obviously have to be a stele from The Mortal Instruments . I mean the whole thing about a stele is that you can get powers from the symbols you draw on with the stele. Then again you have to be the half-angel so I guess my plan is flawed. 2. The Impala : If you could own a fictional vehicle, what would you choose? Wow! So with this question, I realized that I don't have any real vehicles that I would really want. Most of the books. I read are about children (teens) so most of the...
