My Most Anticipated Summer Shows (June/July) Sunday June 5th: Outcast (Cinemax) Series Premiere   I didn't know this was going to be a show or anything about it until I saw an interview with Robert Kirkman (the creator of The Walking Dead). He was talking about starting this new show called Outlast and I had no idea what he was talking about. I'm a HUGE fan of The Walking Dead so I checked out the trailer and I instantly fell in love! I'm a sucker for horror and creepy demonic possession sort of stories so this is gonna right up my alley.  Sunday June 12th: Ride With Norman Reedus (AMC) Series Premiere I've been excited for the show since I heard it be announced. Norman Reedus is one of my favorite actors, from The Walking Dead to Boondock Saints (even though his accent was quite bad). I'm also really happy to see it's about motorcycles too. I have a fascination with them so putting both Norman and motorcycles together is going to be rea

Game of Thrones Book Tag  ( Source ) 1. Arya - A character that's all about revenge Hannibal Lector, mainly in Hannibal Rising by Thomas Harris. Without spoiling anything but the reason he starts killing is because of a terrible, horrific, traumatic incident in his childhood. Hannibal Rising  is all about his revenge on the men that caused his pain. 2. Varys - A book featuring political intrigue The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen is a fantastic book filled with all sorts of political intrigue! The book revolves around Kelsea who has been hidden her whole life until her 18th birthday when she is brought back to the castle to serve as queen. This book is a lot about strategy and power play which perfectly describes how Varys is in Game of Thrones. Also, another thing is The Queen of the Tearling is becoming a movie with Emma Watson. 3. Joffrey - A villain you just love to hate This definitely has to go to Joe from You by Caroline Kepnes.

Storytime: MY BOOK BEGINNINGS  I've mentioned before that I wasn't really a reader growing up and while that's true it doesn't mean that I didn't have books in my life. Actually quite the opposite. I would read a little bit but mostly I remember being read books. One particular memory sticks out in my mind. My best friend and I laying next to each other on the bed and her reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince out loud. I remember us always doing something like that. The reason I wasn't a big reader growing up was because I wasn't the best reader. In school, we would constantly take tests on how well we comprehended the material and also we did this test where we had to read an excerpt from a story out loud to our teacher (in private). Our teacher would time us and see how far we got. They would mark us off for mispronounced words. With my anxiety and me not being the best reader made me really despise reading in school. Then in 6th g

Review: All The Missing Girls  by Megan Miranda Format (That I Read It): Ebook, ARC (Advance Reader Copy) Summary: Like the spellbinding psychological suspense in The Girl on the Train and Luckiest Girl Alive, Megan Miranda’s novel is a nail-biting, breathtaking story about the disappearances of two young women—a decade apart—told in reverse. It’s been ten years since Nicolette Farrell left her rural hometown after her best friend, Corinne, disappeared from Cooley Ridge without a trace. Back again to tie up loose ends and care for her ailing father, Nic is soon plunged into a shocking drama that reawakens Corinne’s case and breaks open old wounds long since stitched. The decade-old investigation focused on Nic, her brother Daniel, boyfriend Tyler, and Corinne’s boyfriend Jackson. Since then, only Nic has left Cooley Ridge. Daniel and his wife, Laura, are expecting a baby; Jackson works at the town bar; and Tyler is dating Annaleise Carter, Nic’s younger neighbor

#readASOIAF Read-Along June-October 2016 I was on Youtube when I saw that Riley posted a new video about a read-along for the Game Of Thrones series. She and two others ( Elizabeth and Kayla ) were hosting a re-readathon of the entire A Song of Ice and Fire series. I got really excited because I read the first book earlier this year and really enjoyed it but I wasn't sure when I was going to be reading the rest because to be honest I was still really intimidated by how massive they all are! But having a group of people who are reading with you is really going to be helpful! So each month, starting in June, one of the books with be read. There was a printable checklis t that can be used to help you while reading:  Since I already read Game of Thrones this year I decided to opt out of the first month, instead, I will be reading Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon since it's around the same length as the rest of the series. In all, I'm super excited! If
Newbie Book Blog Tag!  ( Source ) 1.Why did you start this blog? I’ve been watching Booktube for a while and I knew I really wanted to become a part of this community where we talk and discuss books. The problem was one, I don’t have an official camera (at least one that isn’t my phone) and two I don’t feel comfortable being on camera so I did the next best thing and I started a blog instead. 2.What are some fun and unique things you can bring to book blogging? There are so many book blogs and Booktube accounts so finding a way make your account different and unique is hard I think for me I’m gonna try and mix everything up. I love watching TV shows, writing, and journaling just as much as reading so hopefully I can incorporate all that into my blog as well. 3.What are you most excited for about this new blog? What I’m most excited about the fact that I can actually talk about books to other book lovers. I don’t know too many people who love books as much as me and that

~Continuity and Posts~ So as everyone can see I'm very bad at being regular on here and I know why. I only post Reviews and Readathons. I've decided to get it together and have a schedule and post more (tags, discussions, reviews, etc.) It took me a while to realize that I could actually do tags on here like on Booktube. I am sorry that I haven't been posting and I've been inconsistent.

Review: Walk the Edge by Katie McGarry (Thunder Roads Series #2) Format (That I Read It): Book Summary: One moment of recklessness will change their worlds. Smart. Responsible. That's seventeen-year-old Breanna's role in her large family, and heaven forbids she put a toe out of line. Razor lives for the Reign of Terror motorcycle club, and good girls like Breanna just don't belong. But when he learns she's being blackmailed over a compromising picture of the two of them—a picture that turns one unexpected and beautiful moment into ugliness—he knows it's time to step outside the rules. And so they make a pact: he'll help her track down her blackmailer, and in return she'll help him seek answers to the mystery that's haunted him—one that not even his club
