The Hamilton Book Tag!  ( Source ) I recently got really into Hamilton (in the last month). Then on my trip, I went on we listened to the soundtrack (the whole deal). I'm still not sure on all the lyrics but I love the songs and I'm slowly learning the words and will get them down eventually. Then when I got back I thought about how I still haven't done this tag so here we are! If you haven't listened to it yet do it! It's long (2+ hours) but it is really worth it!  Spotify   Youtube ~SOME SPOILERS~ The Room Where It Happens: Book world you would put yourself in I would say if I got to go into any book world (other than the obvious answer; Harry Potter) I would for sure have to say The Land of Oz! The Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite childhood movies and even with the Wicked Witch I've always wanted to visit that magical land.  The Schuyler Sisters:  Underrated Female Character  I don't know maybe Sansa Stark?? ...

Review /Rereading: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets  by J.K. Rowling Format (That I Read It): Book Summary: All Harry Potter wants is to get away from the Dursleys and go back to Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. But just as he's packing his bags, Harry receives a warning from a strange, impish creature named Dobby - who says that if Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts, disaster will strike. And strike it does. For in Harry's second year at Hogwarts, fresh torments and horrors arise, including an outrageously stuck-up new professor, Gilderoy Lockheart, a spirit named Moaning Myrtle who haunts the girls' bathroom, and the unwanted attentions of Ron Weasley's younger sister, Ginny. But each of these seem minor annoyances when the real trouble begins, and someone--or something--starts turning Hogwarts students to stone. Could it be Draco Malfoy, a more poisonous rival than ever? Could it possibly be Hagrid, whose mysterious past...

Review: A Monster Calls  by Patrick Ness, Siobhan Dowd (Conception), Jim Kay (Illustrator) Format (That I Read It): Book Challenge Completed: An award-winning book Summary: At seven minutes past midnight, thirteen-year-old Conor wakes to find a monster outside his bedroom window. But it isn't the monster Conor's been expecting-- he's been expecting the one from his nightmare, the nightmare he's had nearly every night since his mother started her treatments. The monster in his backyard is different. It's ancient. And wild. And it wants something from Conor. Something terrible and dangerous. It wants the truth. From the final idea of award-winning author Siobhan Dowd-- whose premature death from cancer prevented her from writing it herself-- Patrick Ness has spun a haunting and darkly funny novel of mischief, loss, and monsters both real and imagined. Initial Thoughts: I briefly heard about this novel before. I knew it was becoming a...
